Thanks all for your kind thoughts and texts. A really great woman doctor saw Bill and did an ultrasound on his eyes. She couldn’t see any tears or evidence of detachment but recommended he have it checked further by an eye specialist on Monday. Now for some tea and off to bedfordshire.

Not an emergency per se, but Bill had something strange happen with one eye. He was carrying something heavy, saw a flash of light and then said it was like wispy smoke in his eye. Now smoke is gone but he’s seeing black dots. He’s thinking detached retina but let’s see what the professional’s say…
